In March 2021, two companies with a broad and important maritime tradition, leaders in harbour and ocean towing, decided to join their efforts in a strategic partnership and formed Remolcadores ARtug, a joint venture between Antares Naviera (50%) and Remolcadores Unidos Argentinos (50 %).

Since 1967, RUA has provided towing services, experiencing a steady growth and modernization, and adapting to the needs and requirements of an increasingly demanding market. Since 2018, it is a partner of the Boluda Towage group, promoting local and international synergies.
For its part, Antares Naviera is the successor to a long local and international ship-owning tradition that began in 1917. It has been part of the Ultratug Group since 1997, a group that brings together extensive experience and a high professional level, as well as an efficient and a strong national and international organization.

Safety and environmental protection policies
The Company REMOLCADORES ARTUG SA has developed a safety management system that complies with the “management standards for the safe operation of ships and the prevention of pollution” (Ordinance No 5/18 - DPSN - Volume 2), following the guidelines of the SOLAS Convention - Chapter IX (Management for the Safe Operation of Ships) and the ISM (International Safety Management) Code, the principle of which is to generate a safety culture, in order to ensure safety, prevent personal injuries and loss of human life and avoid damages to the environment and to own and third-party property. To achieve the proposed objectives, the Company undertakes to:
Guarantee the safe operation of the ship, its crew, and the environment.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Form crews with qualified and skilled members who meet the standards of physical fitness for the service, in accordance with national requirements.
Train the personnel to attain maximum efficiency at all levels, engaging them in the Company's principles.
Train the personnel so that they can do the right thing at the right time, in response to normal situations and in case of emergencies or hazardous situations that may affect the safety of the ship, property, people and the environment.
Promote knowledge and application of the standards and practices of the sector to achieve a comprehensive safety culture in the Company.
Develop plans to achieve the highest level of safety on board and in operations, identifying and preventing the risks of accidents and incidents, as well as environmental damages or pollution.
Manage a process of ongoing learning and continuous improvement. The engagement to secure the objectives begins at the highest level of the Company, and encompasses all levels below, incorporating everyone in a continuous improvement process.

Our employees must not accept or offer gifts, hospitality, promotional benefits, or other expenses that could undermine the integrity of the recipient in the conduct of business or influence negotiations in an unethical, improper, or illegal manner. It is permissible to reasonably offer or accept hospitality, promotional benefits, business activities or similar expenses within recognized practices or industry standards; however, this must be reported to and approved by the Ethics and Integrity Committee.
